This is a book I illustrated and hand bound. It was inspired by aexbition prospectus of Irwin Hoffman's art work. I felt the book did not honour his personal views and experiences enough, therefore I combined his words with his work. I made line drawings of the works and filled them with Hoffman's thoughts and opinions about the sitters, scenes or people he portraid. This is another take on Hoffman's paintings, etchings and drawings.
There is a lot of photocopying and reproduction involved in the process of creating the final illustrations. I wanted to replicate puting a mans life work in a book format and replicate it a thousand times.
